This is a fantastic and balanced autopsy of the U.S. intervention in Afghanistan. I was expecting the piece to attack Biden's withdrawal, but instead, it provides tons of rich context and an objective view that Biden's decision to leave was correct and urgent, even if they could have executed the withdrawal period better. A fantastic read for anyone seeking closure on the failed imperialistic endeavor.
