This story goes right to the heart of concerns that Credder addresses. As it says of how to label news, “even the [categories] that are useful are often wrong.” But while the story seems very credible, I didn't find it terribly useful except in understanding why things are so muddled.

Excellent context and insight into the difficulties with answering the question "What is journalism?" and "what is not journalism?". Especially interesting is the part about determining labeling and classification. You can tell this is an article written by someone deeply immersed in the problem and who is writing their own frustration with the difficulty of the problem.

Although the author inputs her own opinion on certain publishers, the majority of the piece is balanced and provides a lot of useful context on how social media platforms label news content and use quality indicators.

"In the aftermath of the deadly Capitol insurrection" is biased terminology. Wikipedia calls it "2021 United States Capitol attack". https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2021_United_States_Capitol_attack#Analysis_and_terminology
