A very well-sourced article, showing some nuanced understanding of the labels of crime in San Francisco and bringing up different researches with different views about the program's outcomes. The video is very helpful to add to the context. Good invesgation!

Fantastic and much-needed investigative look into the mislabeling of crime data in San Francisco in an attempt to reflect a decrease in crime that many local residents understand to be far from the truth. This is one in a few recent investigative reports that indicate that public officials in the District Attorney's office are massaging certain statistics and even letting offenders off so as to be able to demonstrate to the media and voters that crime is dropping.
