Interesting article brought forward, but I gotta be honest, I truly thought that this was already a law, I mean why would anyone let a monster cruiser sail in the scenario of the picture that are the canals of Veneza?

As someone with family and many amazing travel experiences in and around Venice, I've been following the city's policy changes very closely. I can see why this article might seem irrelevant to most readers, but to Venetians or people who have traveled there and seem the effects of these cruise liners, I can say with certainty that this is the right decision and an important policy change for Venice that might be the start of future protections for other Italian landmarks.
