Suellentrop declined a breathing-based sobriety test. Police sought a warrant to obtain a blood sample to test for alcohol, and a phlebotomist was called to draw his blood for testing.The tests later showed that Suellentrop’s blood alcohol concentration was 0.17, according to the affidavit, more than double the legal limit of 0.08.
