LIVETags:&nbsp;Sign up for our NewslettersTags:&nbsp;HOUSTON – A 22-year-old pregnant woman was killed after a shooting in west Houston, according to Houston police.HPD said a report of a shooting came in at 12:37 p.m. on Sunday near Wilcrest and Richmond Ave.“We’re not sure if it’s an altercation or what happened but there was a report that the individuals may have come into contact prior to the shooting,” said Brian Evans with Houston Homicide Division.Officials said the suspect followed the victim’s vehicle and fired a shot at the car. The bullet went through the back of the vehicle and into the victim’s back.“I don’t think he’s aware that he struck someone inside the vehicle,” Evans said.Police said the victim was pregnant. She and the baby died at the scene.KPRC 2 spoke to Loretta Romo, who said she was the victim’s grandmother. She says her granddaughter was 6 months pregnant.“She was lovable,” said Romo. “She loved life. She was just getting started to enjoy it. She was becoming independent.”Police said there were two other people in the car including the victim’s boyfriend and a small child.“Luckily my grandson did not get hit,” Romo said.Police said they’re not calling the shooting a road rage incident.
