This is a fantastic, in-depth look at how newsrooms can more consciously cover mass shootings without glorifying the killer. Journalists Kelly McBride and Amaris Castillo do well to point out NPR's mistakes, how they could do better, and even a list of standards that could be adopted by any newsroom. Very thoughtful and nuanced thinking.
