The prospective reader, whatever their opinion on the referenced matter, should find this piece to be generously biased. It reads as more opinion than anything looking like reporting sans bias. Not a worthwhile read for those interested in an even-handed examination of a current topic of great discussion in U.S. political circles. More substantive reporting can be found elsewhere.

Already the article presents itself already as a mere report of a few quotes from Beto O'Rourke. Moreover, towards the end of the short piece, the authors clearly shows his stance against the ideas of the politician.

Overall it's a decent and brief article bullet-pointing Beto O'Rourke's recent comments and proposed legislation towards gun control. I reviewed this article as Political Agenda however, because author Chris Enloe makes it clear from his language that he is against these policies. For example, the headline itself negatively refers to O'Rourke's plan as a "dark gun control plan".

This article is very brief, and reads as slightly more than bullet-point statements with some flesh around them.
Having said that, this piece does back up the subject, it sources external stories, and that's about the minimum we want for a quick piece.
It's not great writing, by no means, but it's fast, it's lean, and it accomplishes the bare goal without a lot of padding.
