This is a fantastic investigative look in Oregon's "extreme risk protection orders" and one case in particular that it seems obvious was used to properly avoid potential killings. The author doesn't take a stance on whether or not this is a violation of the 2nd Amendment, instead Shane Dixon Kavanaugh uses plenty of sources and context to tell a riveting story that'll keep the reader engaged until the end.
