The Transport Workers Union in 2009 won a lawsuit against the MTA after transit officials attempted to cancel a scheduled pay bump for workers.“We’ll take them to court again if we have to,” Samuelsen said.But the pain for MTA leaders and riders could be felt long before a potential lawsuit.
