Industry self-regulation has failed. We must begin the work of changing incentives driving social media companies to allow and even promote misinformation and disinformation."Zuckerberg and Dorsey in November where they defended their moderation policies in the wake of the 2020 presidential election.Facebook, Google, and Twitter have come under particularly intense scrutiny over misinformation since the January 6 storming of the Capitol building.
