Investigative
October 15, 2019
An absolutely splendid piece on a truly fascinating subject. Well-sourced and well-written. Reads almost as a short story as much as a scientific disquisition on the subject matter. Well worth the read which should leave the prospective reader well-informed and looking for more.

Credible

The article itself is credible, but the author tends to focus too much on past experiences rather than the present. So the interest tends to drop a little as you're reading.

I totally enjoyed the story. It gave a succinct statement of the experience and challenge of working on public health while showing relevance to human DNA testing.

This is a fun little read with great storytelling. The author dives into the challenges facing rat tracking and how DNA analysis can help paint a better picture than typical tags. The author does well to speak from her own experience, but without interjecting any opinion.
