Please look at the time stamp on the story to see when it was last updated.MARSHALLTOWN, Iowa — Police have charged a 20-year-old Marshalltown man with murder in the fatal shooting of an employee at a Casey’s store early Monday morning.Michael Ray West, 48, was shot and killed while on the job at the Casey’s on North 3rd Avenue in Marshalltown. He was shot around 3 a.m. inside the store.Police arrested 20-year-old Rocky Dean Trujillo later Monday after executing a search warrant in the 700 block of Bromley Street. Trujillo has been charged with first-degree murder, two counts of first-degree robbery, assault with intent to inflict serious injury, trafficking in stolen weapons, and going armed with intent.Trujillo is being held at the Marshall County jail and is awaiting an initial court appearance.The Marshalltown Police Department is still investigating the shooting.
