LIVETags:&nbsp;Sign up for our NewslettersTags:&nbsp;HOUSTON – After several days of being closed due to dangerously cold and icy conditions, many school districts are surveying damage and making plans for the upcoming week.Here are the districts that have made announcements in alphabetical order:Alief ISDDue to winter storm recovery efforts, Alief ISD will be closed Monday, February 22. Maintenance staff have been working non-stop to ensure campuses are safe upon return to school and work. Tuesday will be a work day for staff. Curbside Meal service will not be served during this time. On Wednesday, all students are back to in-person or online learning at most campuses except: ALC, Alexander Elementary, Landis Elementary and Rees Elementary students and staff. They will remain 100% online through Friday, February 26.Alvin Community CollegeClasses will resume on the 22nd.Alvin ISDClasses will resume on Monday for in-person and virtual learning.Aldine ISDAldine ISD has announced plans for students and staff for the week of Feb. 22-26.Monday/Tuesday: All district facilities will be closed. No school or work.Wednesday: Remote Learning Day. Teachers will teach from home. Campus leadership teams and administrative employees are to report to work.Thursday/Friday: Remote Learning Day. All staff report to their work sites.Week of March 1: Return to normal operations.Alvin ISDAlvin ISD will resume normal operations on Monday, February 22nd.Anahuac ISDSchool will resume on Monday, February 22.Angleton ISD said it will not have classes for students on Monday. School resumes Tuesday.According to a release, staff will have a workday on Monday and will need to report to work at 9 a.m. School will resume as normal for both students and staff on Tuesday.The district will continue its Fueled to Go meal program as they have done since Thursday. The district said it will distribute already sacked breakfast and lunch meals to children ages 18 and under through curbside services at Westside Elementary from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., and we will run three buses to distribute breakfast and lunch sack meals at designated bus stops (locations on the AISD website under District News).Extracurricular practices may still take place on Monday, depending on coaches and sponsors, who will be in touch with students and parents related to any extracurricular activities.Beatrice Mayes InstituteThe school will resume Monday, Feb. 22.The Branch SchoolThe Branch School campus will be closed on Monday, with remote learning for all.Brenham ISDBrenham ISD will conduct all classes remotely on Monday, Feb. 22. In-person classes resume Tuesday. Remote learning will continue for students who have elected to learn virtually.Channelview ISDChannelview ISD will remain closed on Monday, Feb. 22. Tuesday, Feb. 23 will be a staff workday, there will be no classes or students on campus. Classes will resume for normal school hours from Wednesday, Feb. 24 to Friday, Feb. 26.Clear Creek ISDSeabrook Intm. and Bay Elementary will be remote Tuesday. School resumes Tuesday, with exceptions.Coldspring-Oakhurst CISDThe district will be closed on Monday, February 22nd. On Tuesday, Feb. 23rd, ALL students will participate in online learning from home. Instructional staff will work from home to assist students. Non-instructional staff will report to work on Tuesday to make preparations for everyone’s return to campus on Wednesday, Feb. 24th. All classes will resume as usual on Wednesday, Feb. 24th.Conroe ISDConroe Independent School District will resume classes Monday.Clear Creek ISDClear Creek Independent School District will open Tuesday, Feb. 23 for learning, operating on a normal schedule with the exception of two schools.As of 2:00 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 22, the city of Seabrook was under a boil water advisory, which affects Bay Elementary and Seabrook Intermediate. If the boil water notice is not lifted by 8:00 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 22, then students of Bay Elementary, Seabrook Intermediate and Seabrook Science Magnet will attend school-to-home. The school district recommends parents of students in Bay Elementary and Seabrook Intermediate to prepare for a remote learning day.
