IN HER RESPONSE TO THE JUDICIAL COMMITTEE...  "JUDGE INTROCASO STATES THAT SHE LIKELY SIGNED THIS ORDER WITHOUT FIRST READING IT." THE COMPLAINT SAYS SHE EVENTUALLY RECUSED HERSELF... BUT SOMEONE INVOLVED WITH THE CASE COMPLAINED TO THE COMMITTEE ABOUT THE CONFLICT OF INTEREST. SHE'S THEN ACCUSED OF TRYING TO HIDE WRONGDOINGS BY USING WHITE OUT TO ALTER THE COURT ORDERS. THE JUDICIAL CONDUAdvertisementCircuit court judge arrested after accusations of altering ordersJudge Julie Introcaso faces 2 felony, 3 misdemeanor chargesA circuit court judge has been arrested and charged with falsifying evidence in connection with a judicial conduct review.Deputy Attorney General Jane Young announced Thursday that Circuit Court Judge Julie Introcaso, 56, of Bedford, was arrested and charged with two felony counts of falsifying physical evidence, along with two misdemeanor charges of tampering with public records and one misdemeanor charge of unsworn falsification.Young said Introcaso is accused of whiting-out two of her handwritten orders in a 2019 family division case after she learned that a Judicial Conduct Committee report had been filed against her and elevated to a formal complaint.The tampering with public records charges are also related to the altered orders, and Introcaso is also accused of lying about altering the documents, Young said.The complaint alleged that while overseeing the case for about 6 months Introcaso was close friends with an attorney who was serving as guardian ad litem. She approved rulings on fees and methods of payment for that person. In her response to the Judicial Conduct Committee report, Introcaso stated she, "Likely signed the order without first reading it." She denied the allegations in the report released in October.Introcaso was suspended in October.
