Interesting look into newsroom's interns. Wish they talked more about the hiring rates of interns and how many junior writers they hire each year.

This was an incredibly dense and well researched piece. Lots of investigative work went into presenting this information to readers, and the work shows.

The title should be adjusted to indicate that this is a full-length report. However, I can't imagine another investigative article that could provide more context, sources, or balance to this topic. Lists The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, The Washington Post, Los Angeles Times, NPR, Politico and Chicago Tribune. It also details how the study was conducted.
