Great Context

There are only a few sources for this article; however, they are prominent public figures that are quoted from remarks on public record. The article does supply enough background on the issue to give the reader context for the situation, and it is balanced enough to acknowledge that politicians are working to limit the first amendment from both sides.

Great Context

Great context surrounding the arguments leading up to this decision and the federal judge's responses to those allegations. This provided a balanced nature to the article - combined with just enough sources - this made it a well-rounded story. I felt it was a touch long but packed with information showing expertise on the subject.

Kevin Gosztola does it again- providing an in-depth look at the Wikileaks lawsuit. The article is full of cited sources, quotes, and most importantly the full context that this story has regarding press freedoms.

Balanced

I have lived through Watergate and have read the Pentagon Papers. I appreciate their availablity because of the 1st amendment. I also read what was available concerning the theft of documents from the DNC. You have to admit the DNC treated the documents as they were not intellectual property or valuable. Documents were on too many unprotected systems to be considered valuable. It is the DNC’s foolishness that led to the loss of documents. I am not a big fan of Messrs. Trump or Assange, this is a problem with how the DNC handled the documents
