The article is well written, but there are not enough quotes to know if all the information is accurate. The information just shows one side of the coin, so it would be better if the article also had some quotes from people that worked for Heartland, but left the association with a good experience.

This article struck a very balanced tone, however it did fail to provide quotes or statements from anyone besides those in the article criticizing the shelters. So the tone was good, but the framing was less than perfect and seemed to be Stacking the Deck.

This piece does not accurately site any sources, it does not provide information that is in opposition of their agenda to provide perspective. What it does accomplish is a scathing discussion about shelters and splitting up "families"; however, and I use the term loosely, statistics show that more than 60% of children sequestered were not traveling with a legal guardian, parent, or family member.
