Political Agenda
July 23, 2019
There is a legitimate discussion to be had about how to handle allegations of sexual assault/harassment. In the future, senators should probably always get Senate Ethics Committee hearings. This article, however, is explicitly trying to make you feel pity for Al Franken and then retells the events after emotionally slanting you toward Franken. It's not talking about what should have been done differently or even what resources should be provided to people accused for sexual assault. Instead it makes vague (and in my opinion unreasonable) comparisons of what happened to Al Franken to what more recently occurred with Joe Biden.
