Quite an amusing and pleasurable read for a lazy Sunday afternoon. Not the most in depth work on the referenced subject matter, but the provided links do help the more inquisitive broaden their own, on the ground, so to speak, research. The quotes are informative and entertaining while lending context to the topic under discussion. A worthy use of one's time and if nothing else the article will provide fodder for idle cocktail party chit-chat. Four stars!

This does discuss an overlooked topic, the impact of house cats on their local environment. My biology professor, years ago, once told me that a single feral cat is the equivalent of a biological catastrophe for the local ecosystem. This article discusses some simple solutions, but does not address the larger problem at hand.
