"I'm sorry that they feel that way, and I'm disappointed that we can't do it."Pinkerton has been fully remote since Thanksgiving. Hybrid learning was supposed to resume Wednesday, but Powers said classes would continue to be held online until Feb. 8.Powers said a significant problem is getting substitute teachers because regular faculty members can't just work through routine, seasonal colds."You just show up to work every day because that's just why you're there," Powers said. "You're there to teach the kids.
