Stacking the Deck
July 14, 2019
This article is stacking the deck. It claims women are paid 80 cents on the dollar compared to men, but cites no sources, and ignores Harvard's study that completely disagrees. In case you want to see what Harvard thinks of wage gaps, here is the study:

In case you prefer a different source, here is a different option:

At any rate, this article completely ignores the cogent scientific study data that points to the premise being entirely incorrect to begin with.
As for women's soccer, they just want to earn what the men's team earns...that seems fair enough in my mind.

Investigative
July 11, 2019
The article goes into the weeds in a credible way but completely misses the reason for the women soccer players dispute. The athletes want equity in the soccer league, they are not demanding that all of America change first. The women soccer players are being abused at a salary far lower than 80% of men in the league, not a complicated issue when keeping focused on the issue at hand.

Honest appraisal of the pay gap in the United States. The article implies that there is no easy solution.

This article manages to cover a lot of the basic topics surrounding the wage cap without going too in-depth or being littered with jargon on the issue.
