Stacking the Deck

The author quotes many sources, but does not show both sides of the story. All their quoted sources only have the position that these devices are doing harm. Are there relevant crime statistics showing a decrease in crime as well that are being overlooked? I have no dog in the fight on this issue, I am just trying to see both sides.

Well Sourced

I've seen this topic mentioned across several media sites and podcasts. The use of sonic weapons by municipalities and law enforcement is growing by leaps and bounds while politicians seem to be years behind in their understanding and legislating against abuse.

Great Context

This article provided great context for why the devices were installed, who made the decisions, and the reactions from neighbors and kids on the devices. It does lose a star though because it would've been great to see if there has been a drop in 911 calls, vandalism or crime as this is what the devices were meant to reduce.
