The article does well to source quotes from Apple cofounder Steve Wozniak, current Apple CEO Tim Cook, and Facebook's Adam Mosseri. The piece provides good context but is also very one-sided. Ultimately, Facebook is a free product that consumers choose to use each and everyday. I would have liked to have seen this article and more like it that criticize Facebook be more honest about the pros and cons of a platform that connects the world. Yes, there are data, privacy, content manipulation, and monopoly issues, but it's also the first product to truly connect the world at such scale.
