This article, although pretending to be a neutral provider of information, uses the underlying story that Illhan Omar married her brother Elmi to commit immigration fraud- a statement so baseless as of now that there is still no proof that Illhan even has a brother named Emil. However, that doesn't seem to stop the StarTribune from running a story based on this premise. It's such a sensational claim that it's absurd for an outlet to run the story without any evidence other than the speculative posts on conservative blogs and social media posts.

A ridiculous hit piece that launches off the back of some seemingly innocuous documents from the campaign finance board, that then tries to fly "everywhere". Sadly, it would appear from the rather prompt "critic ratings" that endorse J. Patrick Coolican's piece that yet another attempt to launch a conservative 'campaign' is under way. Ah well...

This article is for reporters who lack the skill and intestinal fortitude to cover the story of "why did we just approve almost a trillion dollars to the war machine?". And the other story "Why did we approve a bill that allows the Pentagon to have closed book keeping IE we won't be able to see where the money went?". Better to just write about the personal goings ons of a junior house member.
