This was a great and balanced look into Facebook's recent hire to help improve the relationship the platform has with online news publishers, particularly in Europe. It's newsworthy not just because the proposed subscription model for publishers could be a great financial boost, but the new hire Jesper Doub has been critical of Facebook in the past which lends hope that changes may actually come.
