This feels more like what Slack should have posted on their site or what they should have put out in a press release. It just doesn't feel much like news since it doesn't look at the effect of this outage or do anything other than say "Slack was down earlier". Anyone who needed that info probably experienced it first hand, this could have been interesting with more meat to it.

This is a very surface-level piece. I understand that the news is still breaking, but this article tells slightly more than its headline. I wouldn't have liked it if the author did a little more digging about other times the service has gone down or other background information on the company.
