This was a fantastic and eye-opening article from Peter Kafka, who's been doing some terrific work recently. I was unaware of this move from Amazon, and might not have heard the news if it weren't for this balanced, insightful report. Pretty troubling developments about Amazon's continued hegemony given that Bezos is already the richest man on Earth, a fact, omitted from this piece.
