Thomas Huff, R-Shepherdsville, said on his Facebook page&nbsp;Tuesday marked "Day 6 in isolation in the ICU."&nbsp;Huff confirmed in the comments on his post he had the coronavirus.House Minority Leader Joni Jenkins told The Courier Journal she first learned of Huff’s medical condition Tuesday through social media.&nbsp;"I’m worried about being able to keep our members and our staff safe when we don’t get timely information about others with COVID," she said. "In this instance, we are going back to check to make sure there hasn’t been an opportunity for an exposure. I feel responsible for not only our members and staff, but also their families.”More:Huff was not present at a Dec. 14 meeting for an interim committee of which he is a member.The Republican representative, who was elected in 2018 when he defeated incumbent Linda Belcher, has expressed doubt on the validity of COVID-19 data and has been seen without a mask in the Capitol.&nbsp;"I understand that covid is a nasty little virus, but don't believe the numbers," he wrote on Twitter earlier this month. "I heard of a person today that was run over by a car, and cause of death was listed as ....... yep, covid."Health officials have said all deaths determined to be caused by COVID-19 are reviewed before being added to Kentucky's total&nbsp;— which reached 2,440&nbsp;Tuesday&nbsp;— to confirm COVID-19 directly&nbsp;contributed to the patient's demise.On Dec. 3, Kentucky Democratic leaders released a joint statement&nbsp;calling on Republican House and Senate leaders to enforce public health rules at the Capitol Annex.“We are outraged that nearly all of the incoming freshmen Republican legislators are not wearing masks during today’s new-member orientation,"&nbsp;Jenkins and Leaders&nbsp;Derrick Graham and Angie Hatton said at the time. "...&nbsp;The room they are using has limited ventilation, and it is impossible to properly maintain social distancing.
