A brilliant piece of on-the-ground reportage. The write-up has absolutely everything that one could ask for in a good story. Quotes, commentary, considered insight, and the videos are a big plus. This article is the type of reporting that puts domestic sources to shame. Balanced and with no bias. Excellent historical and cultural references laden with context. The Author ends the piece on exactly the right note. Basically saying that "time will tell". None of the typical vomit-inducing absolute certainty, and self-referential, self-aggrandizing self-flattery some so-called "journalists" engage in. No schoolmarmish admonitions from on high. An indubitably worthwhile read. Five stars!
