Very, very, good. I read it twice. An outstanding write-up on a truly fascinating subject. The Author does yeoman's service in putting everything, quotes, commentary, and links in orderly fashion to ably service the story. Thought-provoking and deeply insightful, the piece provides the reader an opportunity for introspective perspective reorientation. Even if science reporting is not your particular cup of tea, I'm fairly certain you will enjoy this. And as a brief personal commentary on the question in the headline. أَن يَشَاءَ اللَّهُ And they should turn it off.

This is a fantastic, well-sourced, and humble examination of the hypothesis that we may be living inside a simulation. The article can be a bit difficult to read and if you're not already familiar with some of the concepts such as Plato's cave allegory, you'll like have to stop to do some research along the way. But it's a great look under the hood and a topic I can't seem to get enough of.
