Satire
December 23, 2020
Oh dear, oh dear...Is this satire? No. What it is though is a shining example of vomit-inducing, self-referential, navel-gazing. All the pearl-clutching and caterwauling might lead the reader to fear for the Republic. And they should. Just not for the thin gruel of the reasons stated here. It brings to mind the inimitable Charles Francis Potter with the one and only answer to the noted problem. To wit: "It is what you read when you don’t have to that determines what you will be when you can’t help it." Skip this nonsense and perhaps watch some paint dry. It will be more edifying.
