I am torn on this article. I want to mark it as Biased (Political Agenda) or Illogical (Anecdotal Evidence), but because it is titled as an Op-Ed piece I'm going with Trust. The article obviously has a conservative leaning, being penned by the presidents son and all, but the larger point he makes is still relevant. Censorship is bad for everyone.

It's topical. It contains some opinion, but the subject is certainly hot right now.

This is part of a political strategy by the GOP to try and come across as the victims or underdogs. The piece reads like an echo chamber. All links follow to Breitbart news The Hill or other even more dubious sites. There's no validity to the claim which is why there's no links to any meaningful studies on whether tech companies are favoring liberal ideas or not. This is gas-lighting at its best.

Faulty Analogy

There’s a difference between a private company managing its platform compared to government oppressing speech. While people have the right to complain about a platform favoring one perspective, calling it censorship with the implications that label carries is not appropriate in this case. The author also ignores the fact that other platforms have the exact opposite bias, e.g. Sinclair, Fox News, etc.
