Three 20-year-old men attending a barbecue in which people were physically distancing were wounded Wednesday evening in Richmond after a person in a vehicle rolled up to a home and opened fire, police said.Authorities responded to a ShotSpotter activation around 7:15 p.m. in the 400 block of Marina Way South and found the men suffering from gunshot wounds, according to Richmond police. All three men were standing in a carport when they were shot.The men were taken to the hospital, although one victim who was shot in the torso was flown by helicopter, police said. Their conditions have been stabilized and they are expected to recover.At least one suspect was in a light-colored vehicle that fled north on Marina Way South, authorities said.
