While canvassing the area officers found Chad Michael Jordan, 40, of Jefferson, Pennsylvania, shot in the 1800 block of Cole Street. Jordan was subsequently pronounced dead by medical personnel.Officers later located a 26-year-old man in the 1800 block of Eagle Street suffering from gunshot wounds. His injuries were non-fatal.Through the course of their investigation, detectives learned that the victims were in the area to purchase illegal drugs when a 13-year-old attempted to rob them at gunpoint. During the attempted robbery, the suspect shot both men, police say. Homicide investigators were able to identify the 13-year-old and he was arrested on Tuesday.
