What Ann Garrison is addressing is a global refugee crisis, with US wars and neoliberal economic policies responsible for many of the millions who have fled their countries to America. She makes a valid argument that Democrats do not care to make a connection between immigration and US actions abroad.

Ann Garrison does a great job of providing verifiable stats on such things as military spending while using those stats to highlight the hypocrisy of the Democratic party.
It would help the reader to have hyperlinks to some of those stats and mentions, (i.e. when Clinton said on an open mic about Gaddafi, "we came, we saw, he died). Otherwise, this is a great and solid article that, despite being a year old as I type this, has staying power as we move into the 2020 media shit show.
