Whatever it takes, I don’t care. So if that means keeping the low key, progressive stance hidden, I am about it.”Harris responded by admitting that “privately, a lot of people share that feeling, but it’s more about trying to prevent the conservatives’ vote on the Supreme Court.”Harris utilized the same cloudy wordplay while speaking about defunding the police.“I think it’s bad branding. I think that if you go to people and say, ‘Look how much we’re spending on police departments compared to things like education.’ And if you can provide evidence, I think most people would look at that say, ‘Yeah, there’s something that’s not right here,'” he said.“But when it comes to things like the slogan ‘defunding the police,’ the way that politics works, you’re just feeding right into the narratives that the other side is painting about law and order and violence. So I think that the slogan is oversimplified and doesn’t help Democrats. So why don’t we start being creative about the way we’re framing these issues so that people who might not agree with us, in theory, can start seeing the light?”Perhaps, but the so-called “light” is rarely as warming as he seems to think.Minneapolis has faced an amid the city’s efforts to defund the police — efforts that culminated in another $7.7 million being defunded from the police this very week.“Minneapolis City Council has voted to approve its 2021 proposed budget, including taking $7.7m away from the police to fund initiatives intended to prevent crime,” The Independent Thursday.“The budget decision comes against the backdrop of a crime wave that has seen more than 532 shootings in the city this year – double the number in 2019; 375 carjackings, a total up 331 percent; and a total of 5,100 violent crimes recorded, compared to 4,000 last year.”It’s possible that Harris’s unrealistically optimistic views about “defunding the police” are a result of youthful naivety. But the same cannot be said of Ossoff,&nbsp;a 33-year-old political veteran who is unabashed and unrepentant in his so-called “progressivism.”Earlier this year, he said he wanted to “send a message” to those Americans who back President Donald Trump that “you’re going to get beaten so bad you can never run or show your face again in public because we have had enough.”He’s been accused of accepting campaign contributions from “suspect foreign sources” in China.And his ideological views run hand in hand with those of the likes of Omar and Pressley.“Ossoff is your typical millennial left-wing nightmare. He supports rejoining the Paris climate accord, amnesty for illegal aliens, more money for the butchers at Planned Parenthood, and of course the BLM mantra that America is systemically racist,” Fox News host Laura Ingraham in a segment last month.Please help us!
