A well-sourced look at an issue that has caused quite a stir in scientific circles as of late. The Author does a good job here of avoiding journalistic histrionics and sticking to the story. The balanced approach to the topic yields dividends by providing scads of useful information. Well-quoted and exemplary commentary plus good graphical descriptors and data place things nicely in context. Tight writing with no extraneous frippery keeps the story interesting and informative. A read that's well worth your time. Four stars!
