2Posted Wed, Nov 11, 2020 at 3:23 pm ETReplies (2)NASHUA, NH — A 31-year-old Nashua man pleaded guilty to manufacturing child pornography and will be sentenced in February after appearing in federal court last week, the U.S. Attorney's Office announced.Authorities said that Chad Francisco was found to have had sexually explicit images involving two children under the age of 10 on his cell phone, which he used to send the photos to other people. A child endangerment investigation into the matter was launched by the Nashua Police Department, which then became a criminal investigation that was handled by the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s Homeland Security Investigations. Francisco is scheduled to be sentenced on February 16, 2021.“Protecting children from abuse is among the highest priorities of law enforcement,” said U.S. Attorney Scott Murray said in a news release. “Those who exploit a child in order to create child pornography subject their victim to trauma that may have enduring consequences throughout the child’s lifetime. We work closely with our law enforcement partners to identify and prosecute those who harm children by manufacturing child pornography.” Francisco was originally arrested by Nashua Police in 2017 after police said that he took images that officers started an investigation in September after receiving a report Francisco had possibly been taking nude photographs of a juvenile female known to him and sending those photographs to other individuals via text messages.Get more local news delivered straight to your inbox.
