LOUISVILLE POLICE STILL HAVE THIS AREA BLOCKED OFF WITH CRIME SCENE TAPE AS THEY TRY TO FIGURE OUT WHAT LED UP TO THIS CHAOTIC SCENE THAT THAT LEFT TWO PEOPLE DEAD. POLICE RELEASE BODY CAM VIDEO SHOWING THE MOMENT OFFICERS APPROACHED 25 YEAR OLD ROBERTO SILVA JUNIOR INVESTIGATORS BELIEVE HE OPENED FIRE INSIDE A BELLEVUE SONIC SATURDAY NIGHT. POLICE SAY SILVA HAD MULTIPLE GUNS OFFICERS AND DETECTIVES ALSO TOTAL OF FOUR FIREARMS. THE SCENE AT SONIC LAST NIGHT TOO THREE OF THEM WERE IN ONE LOCATION AND ANOTHER ONE WAS IT ENOUGH WAS SEPARATE FROM THOSE THREE BUT OFFICERS SAY HE WAS UNARMED WHEN THEY ARRESTED HIM AND FOLLOWED THEIR COMMANDS WHEN THEY TOLD HIM PUT HIS ARM - BAG MY MIND’S BEEN HANDCUFFED. LIKE I SAID, WE DIDN’T FIND DID NOT FIND ANY WEAPONS ON HIM AT THAT MOMENT OR WE’RE THANKFUL FOR THAT BELLEVUE POLICE SAY OFFICERS ON SCENE FOUND FIVE SHOT INSIDE THE RESTAURANT, TOO. DEAD TWO ARE FIGHTING FOR THEIR LIVES THOSE OFFICERS ON THE EAST SIDE IMMEDIATELY PULLED THREE VICTIMS FROM THE RESTAURANT AND PERFORM LIFE-SAVING MEASURES ON THEM. UNFORTUNATELY, TWO OF THOSE VICTIMS WERE DECLARED DECEASED THE MELEE AT THE SCENE INVESTIGATORS. SAY A EMPLOYEES WERE SCHEDULED TO WORK AT LEAST FIVE. THERE WERE INJURED BPD TELLS US THEY DON’T KNOW IF SILVA TARGETED THESE EMPLOYEES, BUT THEY ADD HE WAS INVOLVED IN AN IDENTITY THEFT AT THE SAME STORE ONE WEEK BPD SAYS SILVA ORDERED DOLLARS WORTH OF FOOD ON SOMEONE’S SONIC APP WAS ARRESTED AS HE LEFT THE RESTAURANT THEY SAY HE WAS CARRYING GUNS AT THAT TIME TO AND ALL THREE GUNS WERE LOGGED IN AS EVIDENCE AND I CAN TELL YOU THAT WE STILL HAVE ALL THREE GUNS PPD SAYS SILVA HAS A CONCEALED CARRY PERMIT AND AS FOR THE BOX TRUCK LIT ON FIRE AT THE SCENE BPD SAYS THEY DID NOT FIND A BOMB INSIDE BUT DO BELIEVE SILVA DROVE IT THERE. IT IS. ALSO TRUE THAT THE U-HAUL TRUCK WAS IN FLAMES AND CAN PRETTY MUCH BURNED UP. RIGHT SILVER FACES TO FIRST-DEGREE MURDER CHARGES AS WELL AS AN ARSON CHARGE BELLEVUE POLICE SAY THOSE COULD CONTINUE THERE COULDAdvertisementBELLEVUE SONIC SHOOTING: Police identify victims from mass shooting Saturday eveningSunday evening, Bellevue police hosted a news conference to provide an update about Saturday night's mass shooting.A gunman killed two people and wounded three others at the Sonic Drive-In near 15th and Cornhusker around 9:30 p.m. Two people were taken to the hospital for treatment while one refused treatment.The suspect is a 23-year-old man named Roberto Silva Jr. He now faces two counts of first-degree murder, two counts of attempted first-degree murder, one count of arson and four counts of use of a firearm. Victims identifiedDuring the press conference, Bellevue police identified the victims in the shooting. Police said Nathan Pastrana, 22, and Ryan Helbert, 28, both died at the scene.According to police, Kenneth Gerner, 25, and Zoey Reece Atalig Lujan, 18, were injured. There has not been an update on their condition at this time.All of the shooting victims are employees of the Sonic. No customers were inside the building at the time of the shooting.Officials say Silva has never been employed at the Sonic.Timeline of shooting 9:23 p.m. - First call comes in related to the incident. A caller reported a U-haul truck on fire with some wires and tubes sticking out of the back of the truck, possibly having a bomb inside.9:24 p.m. - Another caller reported shots were fired in the area.9:26 p.m. - First units arrived in the area looking for a 6-foot-6 suspect with a large build.9:31 p.m. - Police received information from officers that we believe would locate the suspect on the south side of Sonic near the entrance. 9:39 p.m. - Suspect was confirmed in custody. Details of Silva's Saturday night arrestBellevue Police Lieutenant Andy Jashinske said that four firearms were located at the scene but none were on Silva's person at the time of his arrest. Jashinske said he has been asked how officers were able to take Silva into custody without further incident."Number one, he totally complied, number two, he was unarmed," he said. Police released a 90-second body camera video that shows Silva's arrest.Jashinske said they are investigating the sounds heard in the video, saying it's possible they are fireworks going off or rounds exploding. They do not believe any gunfire was occurring during the video."When officers did take him into custody or when they arrived on scene there, and they had him out on his stomach, when they told him to put his arms behind his back, he complied, he put arms by his back and he was handcuffed. Like I said, we did not find any weapons on him. We're thankful for that," he said. Silva had been arrested at Sonic previouslySilva was previously arrested for misdemeanor identity theft at the same Sonic restaurant on Wednesday.He's accused of charging $57 worth of food to an app that belonged to someone else. The rightful owner called police when he received an alert about the charge that had been made to the account.Employees of the restaurant reviewed transactions, which led police to Silva.Police said Silva had receipts with him that matched the sales made through the app.According to police, Silva possesses a concealed carry permit. When Silva was arrested Wednesday, police found three firearms inside his vehicle.
