Arizona Republic Valley residents over the past few days got a glimpse of winter weather in the form of a cold front that prompted many to grab their winter coats for the first time this season, but warm weather is making a comeback.The low-pressure system is moving its way out of the Valley, taking with it the cool temperatures that on Wednesday dipped to 48 degrees in Phoenix&nbsp;— the coldest it's been since the end of March, according to National Weather Service meteorologist Andrew Deemer.The high on Wednesday will be in the low 70s, but temperatures will creep back up to the mid-80s by Thursday afternoon, Deemer said.Temperatures will keep going up through the weekend, with Deemer saying the Valley is likely to hit the 90-degree mark on Saturday or Sunday. The hottest Halloween on record was in 1988 when Phoenix hit 96 degrees, Deemer said.Sunday's anticipated high of 92 degrees is also just shy of that day's record of 96 degrees.Though he said it's unlikely the Valley will break any heat records over the next week, he did say it'll be "unseasonably hot" and the warmer weather will stay in place through the next week.As such, the overnight lows will slowly increase over the next few days, going from the low 50s to low to mid-60s by the weekend.Deemer said the weather will be "fairly benign" in terms of rainfall, with no anticipated storms in the Valley.
