(WBTV) - A spokesperson for North Carolina U.S. Senator Thom Tillis said Monday the senator feels great and has regained his sense of taste and smell days after testing positive for COVID-19.“He is no longer exhibiting any symptoms and will continue to self-isolate. Senator Tillis and his wife Susan remain grateful for the outpouring of prayers and well wishes they’ve received from North Carolinians,” spokesperson Adam Webb said.Late Friday night, Tillis said President Donald Trump, who is also recovering from the coronavirus, called him. I will be following the recommendations of my doctor and will be self-isolating at home for 10 days and notifying those I’ve been in close contact with.
