Lack of Reliable Sources
October 3, 2020
A tale of truly horrific occurrences and circumstances in the wider world. However, the sourcing, such as it is, is very thin gruel. While there is quoting and commentary aplenty from the ostensibly affected parties, that is about all there is to the sourcing. In this regard, being of good conscience and critically consistent, I must default to my general position in these types of situations. Nullius in verba. On that basis I cannot recommend the piece. "It was not my opinion; I think there is no sense in forming an opinion when there is no evidence to form it on. If you build a person without any bones in him he may look fair enough to the eye, but he will be limber and cannot stand up; and I consider that evidence is the bones of an opinion." - Samuel Langhorne Clemens
