By | Pioneer PressTwo people were arrested Saturday during a political rally at the Capitol in St. Paul.According to the Minnesota State Patrol, Edith Nicole Okerland, 24, of Minneapolis and Ian Michael Sutherland, 23, of Minneapolis, were arrested and booked under suspicion of interference with use of public property and disorderly conduct.The rally, titled “United We Stand and Patriots March for America,” was hosted by the Minnesota Patriot Alliance and Minnesota Rising groups and covered a range of topics such as support for police, a dislike of Gov. Tim Walz’s mask mandate, and support for President Trump.A small group of counterprotesters heckled from the side. At least one of the speakers, Joy Villa, a musician, actress and author, engaged them.
