There are currently 1,025 active cases in Washoe County.The county said 328 tests were administered since breaking over 100,000 administered tests on Sunday, bringing the total to 110,507 administered tests.10:45 a.m., MondayNevada surpassed 69,000 total confirmed cases to date for COVID-19, according to the latest numbers reported by the state on Monday.The state saw 320 more new cases for the virus, bringing its total case count to 69,228 as of Aug. 30. Total deaths in Nevada are at 1,305 with the state COVID-19 dashboard reporting three more fatalities.Clark County accounted for more than 85% of all COVID-19 cases in the state as well as the highest incidence rate at nearly 2,552 per 100,000 people. The southern county also accounted for 1,125 of all deaths in the state from the virus. Washoe was next with 7,174 cases and 137 deaths. Carson City has seen 425 cases since the pandemic started while its number of deaths remain unchanged at eight people.&nbsp;Nevada continues to grapple with the impact of the virus amid the reopening of schools. More than a dozen schools in Washoe County, for example, have reported positive cases for the virus, including that the health district confirmed on Sunday.The state has conducted close to 855,000 tests to date for COVID-19. The daily positivity rate, which has a five-day lag, stood at 9.1%. The seven-day average dipped to 10.5% after peaking at 15.7% in early July, continuing a trend of falling rates overall. The positivity rate measures how many COVID-19 tests returned positive. The World Health Organization recommends a positivity rate of 5% or less for 14 straight days prior to reopening.Here is a rundown of the latest COVID-19 stats for the state.Sunday, 1:55 p.m.The Washoe County Health District reported 30 new COVID-19 cases, along with two more deaths from the virus.In all, the county has recorded 7,204 cases of the virus since it began tracking the outbreak. The cumulative death toll is now 139.Sunday's deceased were a female in her 90s and a male in his 60s. Both were listed as having underlying health conditions.The district also reported 51 recoveries. In all, 5,886 individuals are listed as having recovered.There are 1,179 active COVID-19 cases in the county, down 23 from Saturday's total.The number of virus tests performed county-wide broke 110,000 on Sunday. The health district said 110,179 tests have been administered since the outbreak began.Sunday, 10:44 a.m.The State of Nevada's Department of Health and Human Services reported an increase of 447 new COVID-19 cases in the state on Sunday.&nbsp;There are now a total of 68,908 confirmed cases in the state since tracking efforts were put in place. The state did not report how many of the cases are still active.&nbsp;The states report added there was no increase in deaths, but 557 individuals with confirmed cases are currently hospitalized. Additionally, 118 hospitalizations in the state are of people who are suspected to have COVID-19.&nbsp;Nevada's COVID-19 death toll remained at 1,302.Clark County has the largest number of confirmed cases at 56,153, followed by Washoe County at 7,174.Females in the state have the largest number of infection, making up approximately 52% percent of all confirmed cases.&nbsp;Read more:
