As drivers, the family has one Indy 500 victory, Mario in 1969.&nbsp;Marco Andretti's previous best Indy 500 start is third in 2013. He narrowly finished second as a rookie in 2016.&nbsp;The 104th Indy 500 is Aug. 23 at 2:30 p.m. (NBC).Dixon, the 2008 race winner, was seeking his fourth Indy 500 pole, but settled for the middle of the front row at 231.051 mph. Takuma Sato rounded out the front row.&nbsp;&nbsp;The team headed by Michael Andretti -- Marco's father and a successful retired racer -- has race wins in 2014 (Ryan Hunter-Reay driving), '16 (Alexander Rossi) and '17 (Sato).&nbsp;Andretti produced the hot lap in post-qualifying practice — in the final minute — at&nbsp;224.122 mph in a race setup. Three-time race champ Helio Castroneves was second and Dixon third.
