Firefighters were expected to remain at the scene overnight to improve containment.While it broke out in Riverside County, the wildfire also put authorities in neighboring San Bernardino County on high alert as it moved toward more populated areas there.Capt. Fernando Herrera of the Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department told the that 20-mph winds carried the blaze toward housing developments along Armstrong and Locust Avenue in Bloomington, near Fontana.He told the newspaper the homes did not appear to be in any immediate danger.No evacuations have been ordered and no injuries reported.Sierra Avenue from Jurupa Avenue through the county line as well as Armstrong Road, from 7th Street through the county line, are shut down, according to local fire officials.
