The highway was shut down for more than three hours while police investigated.Witnesses said a man in a blue Jeep fired several rounds at the other car.James Brown, of Dayton, was killed. "I heard the pop, pop, and I looked up. Whoever jumped out of the back seat of the blue Liberty just let the other guy have it," said a witness who asked only to be identified as Brad. "The bullet holes were through the other side of the car. He was in bad shape by the time I slammed on my brakes and slid next to him."Miami Township police said Brown's car was hit three times, and there's no evidence the victim ever fired back."We're looking at everything. Everything is on the table. We don't know if this was a road rage incident, if the suspects knew each other, but obviously, we're looking at all angles," said Lt. Mike Siney with the Miami Township Police Department.Witnesses said the suspect's car got off the interstate at Exit 37.Shortly after the shooting, Middletown police stopped a Jeep that matched the suspect's vehicle. Investigators said a woman driver, who was the only one in the car, was arrested on an outstanding warrant.
