A very well-written article by Jeff Stein giving all the current details around Bernie Sanders' plan to guarantee every American a job paying $15/hour with benefits. The policy is still being developed by Bernie's team, and it can be considered the New New Deal as Bernie prepares for another presidential run in 2020. Although the program would be expensive, there are millions of unemployed Americans seeking jobs, and the private industry in it's current state can't fill demand. Deficit hawks should be skeptical of the program's cost, but for the sake of consistency, those same people should also be pointing to the never-ending and much more expensive wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.
