The article begins in a very speculative and seemingly unbalanced way, making all vape products sound scary and harmful. But as you continue on, the author does well to include an opposing view which I think perfectly sums up this recent frenzy, "Not to diminish the tragedy, but when you see this panic [as a result of fewer than] a dozen deaths in a country of 300 million people, that has the markings of a moral panic." I appreciate her including this viewpoint and for that, I've reviewed it as Balanced.

The headline also eludes to how much information you'll find within the article. Still, no one knows so any speculation is just such... like "especially THC" vape pens being more harmful than e-cigs. This is unsubstantiated because again, no one knows yet.

This feels a little bit like a review of recent vape news that pretends to have new information. The title makes you think it's more about legal vaping products, but it goes in to far more detail about black market products. Seems obvious we don't know what's in black market products and that it can be variable. All the information is sound though, and it was nice to have a link to the NBC News and CDC information.

As mentioned in other reviews, the data included here is basically none. Though there is some perspective gleaned through a few quotes that show entities are investigating this more seriously right now. The situation is ongoing, it would be nice to see an update at a later time.
